We are so excited to be hosting a wonderful festive afternoon! Come along and join us for an afternoon of family creativity.
What does the event include?
- An adult Christmas wreath workshop with a glass of mulled wine & a mince pie made by the amazing Horse & Groom kitchen. We will give you a demonstration of how to make your wreath with access to a beautiful array of foliage, dried flowers & fruits, all picked from a wonderful cottage garden in Worcestershire.
- Childrens festive craft activities, including decorating (and eating!) gingerbread men and a yummy luxury kids hot chocolate.
- A spot of Christmas shopping!
- AND a special visit from Father Christmas himself, after a cosy story session, each child will have a turn to have a chat and a photograph with Father Christmas and receive a gift from him to take home.
Where and when?
The event will be taking place in ‘The Stables’ at The Horse & Groom in Charlton, SN16 9DL. Park in their car park and use their front door entrance, upon arrival ask for ‘The Stables’ where you will be directed to find us.
Sunday 3rd December 14:00 – 17:00 pm
The Horse & Groom will be putting on a delicious festive nibbles & light bites menu which you will be able to order into The Stables if you or your little ones get hungry.
How do I book tickets?
One ticket includes 1 x adult and 1 x child for £65. Extra children’s tickets can be purchased for an additional £10 / child. If you would like to bring along an extra adult to keep your child company whilst you make your wreath these can be purchased for an additional £6 / adult.

There is a limited number of tickets available to keep the event cosy and truly hygge.
What age is it suitable for?
We will all be in one big room so you will be able to keep an eye on your child but you will be creating at different tables, because of this we recommend your child is 4 years +. Also, there will be children’s scissors, adults wreath making clippers around so if you know your child can’t be trusted then please purchase an extra adult ticket to bring along another guardian / grandparent to watch them as we will be running the event and providing all the activities but we can’t take responsibility for watching each and every child 🙂
