Bloomers – Midsommar

A pair of adorable organic cotton bloomers in our Midsommar design. In high summer the Nordic countries celebrate their Midsommar, a festive occasion rivalled only by Christmas. Folk gather in traditional dress and, with flower hoops on their heads, they enjoy old country music on the balmy summer eve. Emerging from hibernation,even the mice come out to play. Our print was painted at the time of Midsommar in our home in Denmark, with Scandinavian words featured such as ‘Tyttebær’ meaning Lingonberries in Norwegian, and ‘Jordbær blomst’ which is Danish for Strawberry flowers, you’ll be able to tell the story of Midsommar to your…
