Summer in Stitches

One of four original pieces from the A Year in Stitches collection. Only one of each seasonal design has been made. A sunlit study of a summer field, filled with tall sunflowers, poppies, cornflowers, field daisies and ripening wheat. This design captures the colour and movement of high summer, with slender stems and scattered blooms arranged in a calm, balanced composition. Designed and embroidered onto organic cotton and mounted with deep red gingham, the piece is finished in a natural wooden frame with glass. An original, one-off artwork in A3 size.
